In our annual Heritage House Dental holiday tradition, we were happy to once again donate a basket to Basketeers in 2018. Each year violence and abuse drive more than 100,000 women and children out of their homes. Basketeers is an organization that assists these women as they transition back into the community after leaving a shelters.  The simple necessities and niceties of life are bundled in a basket and gifted to women as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.  Many of us would take the contents for granted but they are invaluable to these courageous women and their children as they embark on a new beginning. The doctors and staff at Heritage House Dental take pride in giving back to the community. Thank you and Happy Holidays to all!

In our annual tradition, Heritage House Dental participated in the Dress for the Cause campaign during the month of October to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Research. We dressed in pink to support all the women in our lives that we love, a mother, a sister, a daughter, a niece; a friend. Fighting cancer is everyone’s fight. Thank you to everyone that made a donation to this great cause. Because of you, we were able to donate $100 to the Dress for Cause Campaign.  We appreciate all the support in raising awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Research and we are looking forward to participating again in 2019!

This year, HHD participated in Basket Brigade Canada for Thanksgiving by donating $320 towards the purchase of groceries and turkeys. This was enough to provide a Thanksgiving dinner for 16 needy families.  Great thanks goes to Paula and her family, and especially our patients Christina, Jason and and their lovely daughter Sophia for taking the time from their busy Thanksgiving schedule to collect, sort, and deliver the Thanksgiving offerings. The Dental Dream Team was proud to ride once again in the 2018 Manulife Ride for Heart. We have been riding every year since 2014 in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. This year was even more fun because our team was joined by some of our patients, staff family members and other supporters for the ride. All together, we had 15 riders and were able to raise $3265 towards life-saving heart disease and stroke research. We sincerely thank you for your support and generous donations!

Join Heritage House Dental Ride for Heart Team

Heritage House Dental has been proudly supporting Ride for Heart for the last four years and we’re ready to ride again!

Every 7 minutes, heart disease or stroke takes a Canadian life. And another family is devastated. We need your help to change that. By joining Manulife Ride for Heart, we will be riding in support of critical research on heart disease and stroke.

Please ride with us on June 3, 2018 and help to support this wonderful cause. We will be riding the 25km route this year.

Heritage House Dental will pay the $60 registration fee for anyone who rides on our team AND every rider will receive a custom designed team cycling jersey! All you have to do is fundraise a minimum of $100, as per ride regulations.

When registering, remember to click “Join a Group” and then enter “Heritage House Dental” in the Team Name field. Also note you are riding the 25km distance. Follow the prompts to complete registration.

A very special thank you to everyone who brought a non-perishable food item to Heritage House Dental during our Victorian Christmas Event. Kelly delivered your contributions to the Eden Food Bank just in time for the Holidays. Eden Food Bank not only supplies nutritious groceries for individuals and families in need in Mississauga, it also offers kitchen programs to teach people how to prepare their own healthy meals. The vision of Eden Food Bank is “Good Food for All”. Thank you to all who supported those in need!
