A very special thank you to everyone who brought a non-perishable food item to Heritage House Dental during our Victorian Christmas Event. Kelly delivered your contributions to the Eden Food Bank just in time for the Holidays. Eden Food Bank not only supplies nutritious groceries for individuals and families in need in Mississauga, it also offers kitchen programs to teach people how to prepare their own healthy meals. The vision of Eden Food Bank is “Good Food for All”. Thank you to all who supported those in need!
In our annual Heritage House Dental holiday tradition, we were happy to once again donate a basket to Basketeers in 2017. Basketeers is an organization that assists women as they transition back into the community after seeking refuge in shelters due to violence or abuse. Baskets are filled with simple necessities that many of us take for granted but are invaluable to these courageous women and their children as they embark on a new beginning. The doctors and staff at Heritage House Dental take pride in giving back to the community. Thank you and Happy Holidays to all!
In our 8th year of a community tradition, Heritage House Dental celebrated a Victorian Christmas in our heritage building. We welcomed many children, who had their photo taken with our special guest, Santa Claus himself. The little ones were also able to write their Christmas wish letters right here so Santa could take them directly back to the North Pole with him.
We also made sure that Santa had his annual dental check-up while he was in town, and we are happy to report that he received his cavity-free certification for the 8th year in a row.
Our guests enjoyed many tasty, baked treats during this event. To help the Sugar Bugz get home after indulging in these sweets, we introduced the children to our popular Sugar Bugz Be Gone program. Children love these fun, colourful cartoon characters, and they are a great way to teach the wee ones how to maintain healthy smiles for life.
Heritage House Dental would like to thank everyone that attended this wonderful event. We also thank you for the donations to our food drive and for your continued support.
This year we celebrated Halloween with the community at Camp Scare in Celebration Square, Mississauga. Despite the rainy weather, many people showed up for the festivities. The square was transformed into a forest filled with tricks and treats for kids of all ages, including entertainment, shows and lots of food.
Heritage House Dental had a fun time with activities tailored just for the wee ones. The kids were excited to learn about Sugar Bugz Be Gone program, so they could help the sugar bugz move on their way and not linger around after the big treat day. Children also played the floss game and took pictures with our tooth fairy. Thank you everyone for coming out!
There is a new sheriff in town!! Our Sheriff and his deputies had a rootin’, shootin’ great ol’ time on Halloween. The office was decorated with spooky spiders, laughing pumpkins and hooting owls. We said a great big “howdy, pardner” to our amused patients, and helped send those ol’ sugar bugz back to their undersink world. Hope you had a happy halloween too!
Wow… it’s hard to believe that we are now in our eight year of celebrating a Victorian Christmas! This event has become a family favourite in Mississauga, and we hope to see you and your loved ones here.
This year we made an exciting upgrade to our practice, especially for your little ones. We added two child-focused treatment rooms, both colourfully decorated with fun illustrations of Sugar Bugz. It’s all part of our innovative campaign to teach kids how to “free the Sugar Bugz” and have a healthy smile for life. You will be able to experience it first hand when you attend this event.
The new treatment rooms have limited our physical space, so we will not have a concert or craft table as in previous years. However, we know that meeting Father Christmas and sampling yummy treats will put a smile on everyone’s faces. See below for our agenda and mark your calendars for some festive family fun on December 3rd!
12:00pm – 4:00pm Pictures with Father Christmas.
Victorian era inspired refreshments will be served throughout the day’s festivities.
Write your Christmas wish list for Santa or bring your own letter to Santa.
Enter to win a Christmas gift basket.
We can’t wait to see you at the 8th Annual Victorian Christmas Celebration!

Once again, Heritage House Dental was filled with fun activities and big smiles during our annual Summer Camps at the Dentist! We had a fabulous group of little kids who learned how to become “tooth heroes” so they can Free the Sugar Bugz. We taught them lots of fun facts about dental health so they could begin a life long journey of healthy and beautiful smiles. Kids, remember to keep brushing, so your teeth stay smile ready and Sugar Bugz free! The Heritage House Team is happy to support our newest group of Tooth Heroes.
Our camps wouldn’t be a success without you. Thank you to everyone that participated. An extra special thank you goes out to all the little campers and their parents for taking the time to attend. We look forward to seeing your smiling faces again at our upcoming events.
